DAY 01 : Delhi
Arrive at Delhi by flight. On arrival meeting at the airport and transfer to Hotel for Overnight.
DAY 02 : Delhi - Bhubneshwar
After breakfast transfer to airport in time to connect flight for Bhubnehwar.
On arrival meeting at the airport and transfer to hotel. Afternoon city tour of Bhubneshwer. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 03 : Bhubneshwar - Pipli - Konark - Puri

After breakfast drive to Puri, enroute visiting Pipli and Kondark.

a centre for appliqué work which depict the essence of Oriya culture. It is also known for colourful and original awnings, canopies, garden and beach umbrellas, shoulder and handbags etc. The cocktail effect of the colours is certainly a feast for the eyes. Pipli , Orissa’s appliqué capital, announces itself with loud colourful splashes of bright colour in the shop fronts. All kinds of handwork are on sale in shops that line both sides of the main highway.

Konark :
visit the world heritage site -The temple chariot of the Sun God on the sands of Bay of Bengal is a 13th century architectural marvel. It is designed as a celestial chariot of Sun God, complete with twelve pairs of wheel and seven horses. This legendary temple has sculptures of great beauty covering all aspects of life. It is most famous for its erotic art

After visit drive to Puri, on arrival check in at Hotel Hanscoco Palms or Mayfair Beach Resort.
Lunch at Hotel Afternoon visit Puri Jagannath Temple,(Non Hindus are not allowed ) (Sunday platform Closed and you will see from a private platform )The temple of Lord Jagannath ('Lord of the Universe') at Puri is one of the most sacred pilgrimage spots in India, one of the four abodes (dhamas) of the divine that lie on the four directions of the compass.


Gundicha Mandir (Temple) This temple is located at the end of Grad road (the main road) about 3-km northeast of the Jagannatha temple . At the time of the 'Ratha-Yatra' festival, Lord Jagannatha goes to the Gundicha temple and stays there for one week. After one week He returns to His original temple. It is said that the wife of 'Indradyumna', the king who originally established the temple of Jagannatha, was known as "Gundicha". The cleansing of the Gundicha temple takes place the day before the Ratha-Yatra festival as mentioned in "Chaitanya-Caritamrita". Visit also the Fishermens village and local market.

DAY 04 : Puri - Chilka - Gopalpur

After breakfast, drive to Gopalpur on sea, enroute Chilka lake (boat ride on Lake) -the largest salt and fresh water lake. It attracts a large number of migratory birds, like the flamingo, teal, bar headed goose, shoveller and white - bellied sea eagle. For bird-lovers, Chilika is best visited in winter when the migratory populations wing in from places as far as Siberia, Close to the mouth of the lake, is a large population of Gangetic dolphins.

After visit drive to Gopalpur, on arrival check into Hotel Swosti Palm Resorts. DAY 05 : Gopalpur - Chandragir - Taptapani
After breakfast, drive to Chandragiri to see the Tibetan settlement, their local handicrafts, lifestyles and also visit the famous Jirang Monastery enroute visiting also theweaving village where one can watch the spinning, reeling processing and weaving in a primitive style. After visit continue drive to Taptapani : The bubbling hot spring of Taptapani lies deep in the forests and high on a hill around 50 km from Berhampur. The waters, believed to have medicinal properties, are also piped directly into the bathrooms of the Pantha Niwas (tourist bungalow). DAY 06 : Taptapani - Rayagada

After breakfast, drive to Rayagada enroute visiting Saora Tribe and villages The Saora tribes are mostly concentrated in Ganjam district of the State. The whole area is an intricate labyrinth of priciptious hills and valleys which are part of the Eastern Ghat-the height of the hills varying from 2000 to 4000 sqft above sea level. They trace their origin to the Ramayana there is a reference of Savari, a Saora women whom Ram and Laxman met while moving about in the Dandaka forests in search of Sita.Lunch at local restaurant on the banks of river Vansadhara

Arrive in the evening Rayagada and check into Hotel Sai International. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.

DAY 07 : Rayagada - Semilgudi

After breakfast, drive to Chatikona 40 kms each way drive to see the Wednesday weekly tribal market of colourlful Dhongria Kondh tribes.

The important festivals are at the time of sowing and harvesting. During festivals, feast is accompanied by singing, dancing and drinking. At the time of sowing seeds they worship Dharani Deota and make animal sacrifice to ensure good crop. The village women sing and dance joining hands and the boys standing around also sing and the entire atmosphere becomes joyous. During Sarupenu festival they resort to worship on the hills and enjoy the day with feasting and dancing. Their weapon is bow and arrow by which they defend themselves from wild animals.After visit return to Rayagada for lunch at Hotel. After lunch drive to Semiliguda 120 kms /3 hrs & 30 mins drive enroute visit Desia Kondh tribes and villages at Kutli.

The Kondhs are known in the history for their Meriah Sacrifice-Human Sacrifice. The Kondhs are of a Dravidian origin and speak Kuvi language. They practice elaborate birth, marriage and death rituals. Visit the Kondh tribe and their villages- they love music and dance and spend their time merrily. They compose their own songs on love, marriage ceremony, harvesting and nature. The Kondh women wear two pieces of cloths, one around the waist to the knees and the other for upper portion of the body. The Kondh society is replete with festivities. The Desia Kondh tribe lives on the plains and they practice elaborate birth, marriage and death rituals.

Arrive and check into Hotel Lemon Castel or similar for Dinner and overnight at Hotel.

DAY 08 : Semilgudi

After breakfast, morning Bonda tribe and theirweekly market at Onukudelli. This is an intense market situated on the hilly main street of this tiny town. The Bonda has been described as the wildest, rudest and possibly the most interesting tribe. Known as the naked people, the Bonda are a fascinating group. They are named after the Bonda hills of Orissa’s interior and are known for their stubborn, independent and often ferocious spirit.

Packed lunch from Hotel After lunch return to hotel enroute visiting the Gadabba tribe of the Austro origin at Lamptaput.They women wear a long strip of cloth tied around the waist and a second piece of cloth is worn across the breasts and tied over one shoulder. They also wear a number of ornaments including necklaces, earrings, nose rings, large silver hoops in their hair. Older Gadaba women also wear two very thick silver neck rings which are not removed until they die.Gadaba men wear lion cloths. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.

DAY 09 : Semilgudi - Kunduli - Vishakapatnam

Breakfast at Hotel and excursion to Kunduli to see the largest tribal market of the colourlful Paraja tribes – After visit continue drive to Vishakpatnam enroute visiting the famous Simachalam Narasimha temple. Located in the north of the coastal part of the State, the district and surrounding areas have some of the most fascinating places that one would love to visit.Vishakapatnam, originally a small fishing village, is one of the biggest ports in the country housed in a natural harbour with a picturesque hill resembling a dolphin, aptly named Dolphin’s nose, forming the recess.


A very popular temple is the Lord Narasimhaswamy abode at Simachalam , a picturesque hill south of the city covered by woods. People who cannot journey to the famous shrine of Lord Venkateswara at Tirupati opt for a trip to Simachalam.The deity is also known locally as Simhadri Appanna and thus a large number of males in the area are given the name Appa Rao.Goddess Lakshmi is another popular deity and worshipped as Pyditalli and Kanaka Mahalakshmi.Sunch names are also popular among the people. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.

DAY 10 : Vishakapatnam - Delhi

breakfast at the hotel, transfer to airport in time to connect flight for Delhi.
Leave Vishakapatnam - 0840 hrs. AI flight
Arrive Delhi - 1055 hrs.

On arrival meeting at the airport and transfer to hotel. Afternoon half day city tour of Old and New Delhi visiting Qutub Minar, Government Buildings, India Gate, Raj Ghat, Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort. Return to hotel to relax. Later late evening transfer to International airport to connect flight
