India is the perfect fusion of culture, race and religion. Its culture dates back to centuries and offers something for every tourist. Whether it is in the sphere of culture, religion, breathtaking scenery, wildlife, exotic beaches or just wild open spaces to laze around, you name it and we'll take you to your kind of place. A long period of history has ensured a land rich in monuments and places of archaeological importance. The capital Delhi plays host to structures like the Red Fort, Qutab Minar, Rashtrapati Bhawan and many more. Immortal love reigns in the Taj Mahal built at Agra, the 'Pink City' of Jaipur beckons you to a trip down sandy lanes where you will visit the Hawa Mahal, the Amber Fort and many others. The temples of Khajuraho, the Tirupati, the ancient Sun Temple at Konark, the marvelous rock temples down south all invite you for a journey of your life. If wildlife interests you, our wildlife sanctuaries are the perfect haunt for you. The tigers of Ranthambore Sanctuary, the Asiatic lions of the Gir Sanctuary, the rhinoceros in the Kaziranga sanctuary, the wild elephants of the Periyar sanctuary, the tigers of the Corbett reserve can be seen in their natural retreat. Breathe in the open air and enjoy adventure sports in the lap of the Himalayas. You can set yourself on a frenzy while on a jeep safari or have the time of your life skiing, river rafting and para gliding.
If that is not enough, visit monasteries in Ladakh and witness an entirely different civilization. India stretches from the lofty summit of the Himalayas to the coastal splendor of Kerala. The colourful Ganges basin touches the Bay of Bengal and covers almost the entire northern India. The southern part of India mirrors an entirely different custom and tradition and yet it shares a strong bond with the northern part of the country. India is a land of religions galore. Yet, the harmony with which they exist is its biggest asset. Each day is a festival. The multitude of religions ensures that every alternate day sees a festival take place. Festivities reign supreme throughout the year. The climate can broadly be divided into three major categories-summers, winters and the rainy season. India experiences a hot tropical climate with the temperature in the plains soaring up to 45 degree centigrade. The hills are relatively cool. Winter temperatures touch a low of 5-6 degrees in the plains while hilly areas experience an extremely cold weather. India is best visited during winters that stretch from October to the middle of March. The best time to visit the Himalayan regions is during late spring and summer when the snow melts and the passes are negotiable.
